I originally wrote the piece as a way of contextualising my feeling in regard to the Sarah Everard case; I didn’t post it at that time simply because it felt too soon. Please enjoy my first poem post of many. This piece is something I wrote when trying to let go of a person I loved. For each moment of our relationship, I wrote poem after poem; it only felt right to end with one as well.
